# Hunt

From Camp to Trail to Return: 6h30 Hunts, permanent readiness, and transparent asset accounting.

Send an eligible Genesis or revealed Aetheryn on a Hunt, open one bounded liquidity position, then bring it home. A qualifying return after **6 hours 30 minutes** earns one permanent Readiness Mark. The first **seven marks** unlock that creature’s Breeding readiness.

A simulated preview moves no funds; every real approval or transaction must be clearly identified before wallet confirmation.

### How Hunt works

1. Choose an eligible Genesis or revealed Aetheryn.
2. Choose a land connected to an admitted Fables market and review the pair, current fee, recent APR, depth, risks, and exit rules.
3. Review the bounded USDG amount, the creature’s authenticated DNA allocation and the **23,400-second** maturity measured from its on-chain opening time.
4. Issue one Hunt Pass that locks the selected market and opening terms into an isolated position.
5. Track active time, market conditions, and exact position state.
6. Finish through either a normal return or a separate intact rescue path.
7. Reconcile the return and fee records. Only a finalized qualifying return earns a Readiness Mark. Restore the Hunt from its receipt after refresh, review its record, then begin the next Hunt when the actual state permits.

### Where Fables fits

Stockmon plans to use [Fables](https://www.fables.fi/docs) (`fables.fi`) as the pool layer for eligible Hunt positions on Robinhood Chain. Fables is a noncustodial exchange built on Uniswap v4. Each Fables market is a two-token pool with its own hook: the hook sets the swap fee when a trade happens and records each holder’s share of the pooled liquidity. Hunt is designed to build on admitted Fables markets rather than create a separate hidden pool or promise a fixed rate.

**Launch market: SPY/USDG on Fables, Robinhood Chain (4663).** The successor launch catalog is fixed at deployment. Admission still requires current market identity, depth and policy checks. An existing Fables pool or deployed Hunt contract does not itself open the public Hunt service.

#### What the market card means

The planned Hunt market card separates live pool evidence from the simulated game outcome.

| Fee now           | The pool’s current dynamic swap fee, with its source time. A tokenized-stock pool can charge different calendar-based fees around the market open, middle, close, and quiet hours. It is not a fixed rate for the whole Hunt. |
| Pool APR          | Recent pool fees annualized against pool value. It is backward-looking, not a forecast, not the Hunt’s return, and not a promise of profit. Read more in [Fables’ APR guide](https://www.fables.fi/docs/apr).                 |
| TVL and depth cap | Evidence used to limit position size. If identity or depth evidence is stale, unavailable, or too shallow, that trail stays closed instead of guessing.                                                                       |
| DNA allocation    | How eligible post-Camp fee value is assigned after settlement. It does not restrict which admitted market the creature may choose.                                                                                            |

#### The pool and DNA do different jobs

The market determines where the liquidity position earns fees. The successor launch catalog contains **SPY/USDG only**. Its routes are fixed at deployment; later market additions are a separate release decision. A route must also remain admitted and pass current checks before it can be used.

The creature’s **authenticated DNA** determines the Field allocation. After the conditional Camp allocation, eligible fee value is assigned by its recorded lineage weights. A Pure uses one 100% leg; a Hybrid keeps its existing weighted basket. Aetheryn uses its own original DNA. Choosing a market does not rewrite the creature.

A Field leg that cannot be converted safely may remain a **fully backed pending USDG allocation** with its original intended stock recorded. It can later convert only through a compatible route fixed in the launch catalog and only when current checks pass. No conversion is reported until it actually occurs. Automated feeding conversions are not promised at launch.

The planned Hunt position remains unstaked so its swap fees stay with the position. Fables points, creator-fee distributions, future emissions, referrals, or airdrops are separate programs and are **not promised as Hunt rewards**. ### Normal return and rescue are different

#### Normal return

A normal return removes the exact Fables position locked into the Hunt. Recoverable principal or position assets return to the opener, while fee settlement is tracked separately. Market movement can change both the returned amount and token mix. **Principal value is not guaranteed.**

Field stock and backed pending Field USDG remain attached to the creature. Properly recorded parking or deferral can complete the relevant fee accounting without a token purchase. A terminal record therefore means the required accounting is complete; it does not prove stock or MON was bought.

#### Intact rescue

The rescue path returns the exact Fables position shares and remaining claims to the opener. Rescue does not create Stock credit, Camp proceeds, realized profit or loss, or finalized XP.

A Genesis Feed basket stays separate from Hunt, and each revealed Aetheryn has its own basket. A Hunt loss cannot debit an earlier basket or Hunt credit.

### Hunt is how a parent earns Breeding readiness

A permanent **Readiness Mark**—sometimes called a Breeding Strike—is earned only by a finalized full **6.5-hour Hunt** completed through the normal return path.

The first **seven Readiness Marks** unlock that parent’s readiness. Marks follow the NFT, do not reset on transfer and are not spent on a birth. Genesis has **seven lifetime breeding uses**; each Aetheryn has **three**. Seven new Hunts are not required before every birth. A new Aetheryn starts with zero marks and must earn its own seven.

The displayed **N of 7** comes from the authenticated readiness record, not a local click counter. Maturity alone does not finalize a mark: normal-return, settlement and readiness checks must complete.

Seven marks do not bypass the other Breeding rules. The parent must still have available fertility, be outside its 24-hour cooldown, satisfy the generation and kinship rules, and be owned by the wallet sealing the Egg.

### XP and levels

Base XP comes from eligible active time and Hunt amount with diminishing scaling. Profit and loss do not change XP.

XP and levels are cosmetic. XP does not create yield, stronger financial returns, a Readiness Mark, or a substitute for the seven qualifying Hunts.

### Where `$MON` fits

MON is separate from Hunt principal. Breeding has its own disclosed MON payment. Awakening, recharge and bonus XP are separate features and are not implied by a Hunt return.

### Where the assets go

#### Camp accounting

The Camp budget uses **7.5% of eligible gross fee value** only when that value is strictly greater than the measured principal deficit; otherwise its gross budget is zero. This is a fee-allocation rule, not a guarantee that losses are reimbursed. Actual liquid allocations reflect measured conversion output and integer rounding.

Where no active MON route exists, Camp USDG can be parked and the original distribution can finish. An authority-gated, once-only sweep sends the parked amount to the fixed Treasury wallet. Any later Treasury MON buyback is a separate manual operation outside Hunt. An active but illiquid route can still block settlement; absence and illiquidity are different conditions.

#### Claim toll versus pool swap fee

The hook’s claim fee and the pool’s swap fee are different. The successor configuration permits a claim-fee ceiling of **2,000 basis points (20%)**, with per-claim consent up to that ceiling. This is a maximum allowed toll, not a flat 20% charge or a promised current fee. A historical observation of zero at block **62,027,080** is historical evidence only. Current fee evidence must be shown for the relevant claim.

Fables liquidity positions can lose some or all of their value through price movement, impermanent loss, going out of range, one-sided exposure, changing fees, a possible fee on collected fees, thin liquidity, exit slippage, token-issuer restrictions, smart-contract or shared-ledger defects, Robinhood Chain disruption, and gas. Fables hooks are immutable, and review does not remove contract risk. “Recoverable position belongs to the opener” is not the same as “principal is guaranteed.” Read [Fables’ risk summary](https://www.fables.fi/docs/risks).

### What arrives with Hunt

The release separates **deployed contracts**, **configured connections**, **activation** and **public availability**. Contract deployment and configuration are complete at this documentation checkpoint; activation and public opening remain pending. Historical r6 and Case 1 results are fork rehearsals, not mainnet Hunt journeys or a guarantee of meaningful fee earnings.

#### Receipts and recovery

Keep the transaction hash for every real action. Refreshing the page or reconnecting the same wallet should restore the recorded Hunt rather than send another transaction. The authenticated owner recovery flow can look up the latest closed Hunt by wallet and parent identity after local storage is lost. A submitted action with an uncertain outcome must be reconciled before trying again.

Normal return, intact rescue and post-burn claims have different conditions. Use the applicable owner flow and review its exact assets, recipient and transaction before confirming. Private site access and wallet ownership are separate checks; possessing a link does not grant control over an NFT or claim.
